So I listen to the
Daily Source Code on a daily basis. Adam Curry frequently features songs from
Mashuptown.com I've liked the songs and finally grabbed their feed. They are just mashups of multiple songs into one. Some work better than others. Here's a couple of the more recent ones I enjoy.
What has nine arms and sucks?
...Def Leppard! Ah, an oldie but a goodie. Def Leppard was my favorite band at one time, when I was in Grade 3 or 4 and Hysteria was huge. Lots of home-made sharpie marker tattoos on the forearm with their excellent name font. But over the years I definitely moved on to other things - I can't even tell you the name of their next album. Well Aggro1 just did something great, taking Def Leppard’s arena rock monster “Rock of Ages” from their ten-armed days and fused it with Goose’s electro-pop goodness “Girl.” The result is pure, unadulterated fun like you had in elementary school. Party on.
Aggro1 – Rock of Ages, Girl
This here is the boot I listened the most the last weeks and days on my MP3-Player.
Divide & Kreate mixed up Metallica in the Electro-Pop Style.
The Bay Area Kings are meeting Coldpay in a Thin White Duke Remix and they sound so cool!
I never was a big fan of "Until It Sleeps", but here I love it.
THANKS D&K!!!
